How do I register?

Our online registration portal is hosted through CCN Bikes. All financial transactions will take place through this site including route registration and donations made to A Place Called Home.

What hotel or motel options are available close by?

There are several hotel and motel options available to event participants. Our official hotel sponsor, Days Inn and Suites, offers preferred rates if you call them and tell them you are participating in our event.

Will I get a grab bag?

At this stage we are looking at revamping our grab bag. More will follow on this as part of a email blast as we get closer to the event.

Where can I park for the event?

Event parking will be located at the Lindsay Courthouse - 440 Kent St W

What is the fee?

The fees are as follows:

Up to March 31, 2017 - $50 for adults and $30 for youth 16 and under
from April 1 to August 11 - $65 for adults and $35 for youth 16 and under
after August 11 the cost for adults will be $75. Youth will remain the same at $35

What do you mean by early registration

If we receive a paid registration by August 11th, 2018, you will pay a reduced entry fee. If you register after the 11th you'll pay the full amount for entry. This is our effort to encourage everyone to PRE-REGISTER (please, PRE-REGISTER)!

How do I register on event day?

Registration will be open at Boston Pizza located at 435 Kent St. West in Lindasy, beginning at 7 a.m.

What if I get hurt or I get too tired to finish?

There will be communication abilities at each refreshment stop – as well as food and water. If you need assistance or transportation, folks at the refreshment stops will be able to call for a van to fetch you back to the Boston Pizza. There are also sweep riders at the back of each route with first aid supplies for both you and your bike. If you are unable to continue just wait and help will be along. You might consider bringing along a cell phone as well. For a serious emergency call 911. Each rider will receive an event number and on the reverse side we will provide emergency contact numbers and information.

What time will lunch be served?

We start serving lunch at around noon. The Boston Pizza buffet menu for the day is here.

Are animals allowed at the Kawartha Classic?

Unfortunately dogs and other animals are not allowed to participate in the ride, either running alongside or on the bicycles.
